Argos non purchase

Hi

Just a quick question.
Reserved an item on the argos webite for collection today.
Went to the quick pay kiosk and used my argos card as the queues were too long at the checkouts. The card was authorised for the purchase.

Had to leave before I could collect as dd called with an emergancy.

Not going to get the chance of picking the thing up now, and to be honest have since found it cheaper elsewhere.

Question time. My argos card was authorised but I didnt collect and didn't sign the reciept (the one argos keep) will they still charge me or do I need to call argos card services to tell them I didn't collect?

You will still have been charged. You are probably best calling the store and asking them to process a refund or that you'll be back to collect the item on x date.
