90 day Consultation period ended. Still no news.

Hi,

Work for a FM Company which was order by our customer to cut costs.
They have done this by redundencies. Due to health and saftey the Maximum engineers they can lose is 16. But they have hit our cleaners hard over 600 part timers.
Our consultation period ended last week, but we still don't know who is safe. All we have been told it maybe another couple of week to work through the score matrixes. Is this a normal procedure?
It's annoying that although we stand to lose 600+ staff, the HR dept is unaffected.

How do you know HR are unaffected? Also why is it annoying, it's not HR who decide who stays and who goes?

No point laying blame it seldom gets things done. You need to ask for clarification on who is at risk.
