All,
Two bedroom end of terrace house in a cul-de-sac, with a "spare room" via the kitchen used as a third bedroom/utility room.
Used & tried before builder supplying unless otherwise stated:
Driveway to be built,
Porch to be built,
Re-laying laminate flooring in all rooms except for stairs and bathroom,
Plastering living room & bathroom ceiling,
Fan in bathroom,
Creating a new door & bricking the old one in the utility/third bedroom,
Kitchen/tiling install (I supply),
Bathroom/tiling suite install (I supply)
Total: £10.5K ?
(Also he was going to charge £150 per door to be hung (I supply), though I told him no on that one.)

Good morning: Tbh...not enough enough detail of the specification provided by you to give an informed answer.

Hi,
£150 to hang a door  I'm currently paying £27/door! Ive also recently had my kitchen fitted for £576 (8 base units, 2 floor to ceiling units, 2 wall units) took 5 days and he did a fab job!
Could you consider laying the laminate yourself? We have laid engineered wood flooring and its been fairly easy! You just need to measure twice and cut onceand make sure the floor is level. Were new to all this DIY lark and did ok!
I think sometimes when builders are asked to do a collection of jobs you can pay over the odds. I would get a few more quotes if I were you and make sure its broken down into individual costs so you know what your paying for!
Hope this helps

Thanks Lisa,
I had another quote from another builder who has done work for me, with EVERYTHING included except the porch and his total comes to £7.3K0
