EasyJet & RyanAir

Regarding Luggage weight allowances.
I am going skiing next year.
(1) Does EasyJet's 20 kg 'Hold allowance' include/exclude the weight of skis ? (for which I have paid an extra charge for sports equipment)
(2) Does the 20 kg 'Hold allowance' include/exclude the weight of Cabin luggage ?
(3) What rules do RyanAir apply ?

Thanks for any info.

    (2) Easyjet doesn't have any weight limit on hand luggage, therefore the 20kg applies to checked luggage
    (3) Ryanair has a checked weight limit of 15kg and a hand luggage limit of 10kg, going over those limits is extremely expensive at around £14 per kg (and that will apply to your hand luggage if it has to be checked)
  • You'll have to put skis in hold and hold baggge rules apply. Cabin bag = 10kg. To save paying extra cos cabin bag too heavy wear your heaviest clothing and esp. a coat with HUGE pockets so you can stuff things in those if you have problems! YOu may walk round the airport looking like a hunchback but once you're inside the customs area, no-one much bothers you...

Or don't fly Ryanair and hire skis at the resort
