Changever doubts and Scotish power online energy saver 6 plan

I recieved a phone call from scotish power congratulating me on one of 100 to be offered cheaper gas and Electricity.

Ultimately he sold me what i remember the online energy saver 6 dual plan. Is anybody in this forum on this plan and has it been cheaper. I was told you will see 12% saving.

I live with my wife and two boys aged 9 and 7. New condensing boiler and controls installed this June. 90% flat energy saving lights. Kids like lot of TV and Wii, laptop.

I am currently with Southern electric for one year. I was told that per unit it works out cheaper, i don;t have the units front of me but if you request i can post these. I compared units he gave with my last quaterly bill of southern Electric and they are less. Plus he mentioned little bit discount on monthly DD, and dual.

So what you think guys, i think he said i have 7 days to decide. And it will changeover in mid sept. my last quaterly bill was with SE 107 for Elec and 82 for gas. for three weeks wife and boys were away.

The one of one hundred seems a pretty dodgy and low tactic. There are tariffs with a limited subscription but no way are they limited to one hundred customers. Also, as you have switched via a salesman, you have lost out on receiving £62 to £100 cashback.

I would also suspect the quote would not include the annual one-month discount from Southern - that would make Scottish Power more expensive on an annual basis.

Why not switch instead through a cashback site and earn £80 for your trouble?
