Aaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!
I posted about a week ago about an item not received. After several days of trying to make contact with the seller, she finally sent me a message to say that she had dropped the item and broken it whilst packaging and refunded me. Fair enough...although I couldn;t see why I had ot wait over a week for that information and refund....
So, today I see an auction ending for the same item, bid and won in the dying seconds of the auction. Hadn't paid immediately as I'm waiting for money to hit my Paypal account tomorrow. Just logged into ebay and guess what? Yep, message from seller of item to tell me not to pay as she has dropped the item and broken it
What is going on???
Both auctions ended as a decent price and around the going rate for this product on ebay so I don't think it's that they didn't want to sell at the price but I just find it difficult to believe that this could happen twice, with 2 different sellers in such quick succession...
Oh well....rant over so I guess it's back to the drawing board....

lmao are you sure you really want one of these? They're obviously cursed!0

Report to ebay?0
-
Did you report them as a non performing seller and leave appropriate feedback? If not you still have time to do this0
-
can you describe what this item is?0

My guess is it's the same seller, using two different accounts, and both times the item has ended at less than she was hoping to sell it for.No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!

Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target

I didn't file a NPS in either case. Should I? Would there be much point when I have already got my money back for the first one and hadn't even paid for the second one? Do they receive a mark against them or something...I've have no experience of NPS at all.
Can't find any connection between the two sellers at all. And both have sold the same item in the past for less than I bid
Although, as I won both auctions in the last 10 seconds, I guess someone who I outbid could have messaged them afterwards and offered to pay above what I won at maybe?
Found a buy-it-now for the same item at around the price that I won the previous ones at so will try one final time to get it....wish me luck!0 -
Definately hit them with NPS on both - sounds dodgier than a very dodgy thing!0

Of course there is a point. This will go on file with ebay along with any other infractions. So could effect there account (even get banned if they are really bad). So it could show the seller that they cant get away with it and stop it happening to others. Sellers like that don't help ebayI didn't file a NPS in either case. Should I?!0 -

It could be they have done the same to those buyers. If they didnt report it either they sellers can keep getting away with it.
I would report them & also get the buy it now.0
