  • I was pretty sure I saw one in a pound shop before but I checkout out the local ones the other day and couldn't see one! :(

Was it a chain pound-shop you bought it from? I think I'd rather pay £1 than £15!! lol!!

I can't remember which one it was to be honest, there are loads around here. I thought £1 was a bit of a bargain.

Also worth checking B+Q - think they have them for a few pounds.

Failing that ebuyer for about £2.
They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.

Your local independant computer retailer will probably stock them for £1-2, PC World only generally stock the branded ones. To be honest I've never seen a problem with an unbranded USB cable.

I have just bought one from poundworld in Ellesmere Port - fantastic bargain and a decent sized length to boot!!

Argos charge some scandalous amount too.

Ebay. Very basic bit of kit. The cheaper the better.

    1.8 metre best.
1m can be just a little tight sometimes.

PS My local computer shops tend to think they can charge whatever for these things..

They sometimes have then in poundstretcher but be careful because sometimes they are USB extension cables rather than device cables. The extension cables ARE very useful if like me you only have the USB sockets on the back of your PC.
