LHA/Housing Benefit Payments??

Hi guys,

Almost sorted everything out now..

Just received a phone call from the HB office today and they confirmed that the move-in date was on the Mon coming and she said to bring in ANOTHER document on te Monday I move in, from the Estate Agent/Landlord confirming I've moved in - so that the HB can issue an "advanced payment" or something like that - not sure if I've recalled that correctly - but can anyone shed any light because I could hardly understand her and want to know if this is a good or a bad thing? Don't mind going there 5 days a week if I have to and sending a million+ documents - as long as I make some head way lol..

Also had my interview with this company rep today with regards to them paying my deposit.. It went rather well but he explained that I should not have signed the tenancy agreement without having this interview first... I then told him I have been looking for almost 6 months and found everything quite difficult, so when the opportunity arose, experience told me to grab it.

Nice fella he was, so awaiting their verdict - hopefully Monday..

What do you guys think?
