Lads Holiday!

Hi everyone,
I’ve been given the great task this year of arranging the lads holiday! Were all aged between 21 and 23 and there is going to be between 6 and 8 of us this year!

Holiday requirements:
It must be lively, lots of nightlife
Ideally near a beach
In a foreign hot country

We have all been away several times before on similar holiday, but ended up paying £400+ per person for 7 nights!
We are looking to go for between 7-10 nights, and want to go away at the end of June. Some of the guys are fireman, so have already been given the dates there allowed off, so were not too flexible on the dates.
Any advice on where to go, and how to get this sort of holiday as cheap as possible will be much appreciated!

Chris

we had a cracker at malia in crette.

My memories of a lads holiday were sh1ty flight times like 10 to 12 at night and they classed that as your 1st day . Same thing coming home.

    Have you considered Thailand

Las Vegas ... saw some cheap flights out that direction and you can get good deals on hotels (although I don't think the budget would over 10 days). Doesn't have a beach but has loads of sand and pools.

You cant go too far wrong with benidorm if you want close to uk - cheap flights and accomodation, theme park and water parks, and good 'shows' (Vicky / Fabba etc) to watch in evening when drinking.... ;)

    What are your dates.

Which airport do you want to fly from. How long do you want to stay for.

Let us know and i'll come with you, no only kidding i'll have a look for a cheap holiday for you.

i would suggest one of the 18/30 resorts.

My daughter loved malia, but this year she is of to Laganas.

After 20 years of going away with the lads to such exotic places as Magaluf, Benidorm, Crete, Corfu, Canaries etc, i can pretty much say they are all the same.

Late bars, sunburn, throwing up, dodgy food, etc, etc, etc.

If your looking for a bit of scenery thrown in then Corfu was pretty.

My advice, make sure the hotel rooms are half decent, and you have insurance..

    Never been to Cyprus though.....

(just like to point out that i have played football for 25 years and we go away every other summer for a "team bonding" week).

Cheers guys, I’ll find out the exact dates and get back to you, last year we went to Kavos and the year before Malia, so ideally we want to try somewhere different! Benidorm sounds good to me, as I love my theme parks! How good is the night life over there?

Me and two mates are going to Tenerife this year (end of June for 2 weeks) and cost £590 each for 2 weeks 4* half board hotel 3km outside the centre of Playa Las Americas.

We decided to get a decent hotel with spending 2 weeks as I don't mind a cheap basic apartment for 1 week but with staying for 2 weeks we wanted something a bit better

apparantly our hotel is 500 metres from the beach and 100m to the local bars before moving into Las Americas for the nights out

Done Kavos myself 3 times and off for the 4th in July and done Malia once.
Benidorm is a good laugh but doesn't compare to the Greek resorts. English square is tiny compared to the strips in Kavos and Malia. Also done Tenerife but didn't rate it that much personally although my mates were a bit boring on that trip and wanted to be back early to not waste the day in bed. Sleep by the pool it's what it's there for.

If you liked Malia and Kavos then head for Zante, if you want something different head for Cancun but it's more expensive and a week probably isn't enough for the travelling you'll be doing.
Bulgaria has just hit 18-30's brochures so it'll still be cheap as hell over there before they realise there's money to be made.
