I havebeen bought a new MIKOMI MUH-05 4 port star hub and a new INTEGRAL Pen drive. Both bought from Argos. I have tried to install them on my desk top computer but every time I try it comes up that neither will install, due to a malfunction in the devise. I have gone through all the troubleshooters etc but they havn;t helped. My desk top runs on Windows XP. I can install both successfully on my laptop which runs on Vista.. On the box for the hub it has USB, WIN, MAC, VISTA, each in a yellow circle. Does this mean that its not compatable with XP.

Should be plug n play but did it come with any CD for drivers?0

You sure the usb slot works, i mean the slot your trying to use do you know it works0

Leaving the Mikomi hub out of the equation, does the Integral USB Flash Drive install in any of the USB sockets on your PC? Make sure you leave it in for at least a minute, or until you get some form of popup message near the bottom right of the screen.
A USB hub is more likely to be a problem than is a USB Flash Drive...0 -
Yes have tried them in all vacant slots and have also, have disconnected printer lead and tried both of them in that slot. No go, it just comes up with the mnessage ' A USB device that you have installed has malfunctioned, try installing it again or replace the device' This comes up in the bottom r/h corner of the screen. It didn't come with any discs for installation.0

I'd take it back for another, or exchange - at least if the replacement doesn't work, you know it's probably your computer.Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.0
