Should this website be allowed? If you Google my phone number the only result is on that site, and they just seem to list reams and reams of phone numbers. Every friend and family member I tried are on there and some of us are ex-directory.
There is an option to remove your number but it all seems a bit dodgy.

It says they have a database, but it looks like every combination of number is on there, e.g. http://phonespamfilter.co.uk/search.php?phone=1111111111
And there's no other information linked to any numbers. It's no more different to if I typed (01234) 567890 and posted it...doesn't mean MSE has got the information for that personSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
My number appears on there too, and I'm also ex-directory - I think they've got details on the UK phone exchanges and just put together lists of all the possible numbers on that exchange and whether they have any unsolicited call reports from those numbers.
It's a bit like that website that has everyone in the world's PIN for their cards because a PIN is 4 digits long, with 10,000 possible combinations, so a known quantity.
I'm just offering my 2p worth on what I see, by the way.0
