I guess I've started enjoying my bike a lot. it's over a month since I filled the car with petrol.

I had a bit of a shock to find it was 97p a LITRE.

So is it trending up still, going to hit a £/LITRE?

  • WOW! 97p/gallon - the cheapest petrol I have ever seen.
    I'm sure you mean 97p/litre!

I saw it for 99.9p last Friday.

What are they going to do with the signs once it reaches a pound? There won't be room to have 100.1p for example. There's only room for 3 numbers. Will they round it up or down to the nearest penny?

I have seen "premium unleaded" such as BP Ultimate at 103.9/ litre
    I have a cunning plan!

  • At these bargain prices fill up while you can. When Bush nukes Iran £1 a litre will seem dirt cheap!

I was going to say "nowhere near as long as that" as I can remember it at that price when driving myself and I'm only young.
Turns out it was 1979-80, you're pretty close and I'm older than I feel!
    Can I help?
