Sainsburys own brand Biological Washing powder.. as good as Ariel?

I swapped to liquid about a year ago - first M&S and then to Sainsbury's own. I use a dosing ball in the machine. I often throw in an extra dosing ball of soda crystals.
Since I started my drawer is much cleaner and fresher - gone is the black and manky drawer of previous years.
I have switched to the MSE tip of not using fabric conditioner (despite being in a hard water area) and doing an extra rinse with a glug of white vinegar in through the dispenser.
My washing machine loves this! And it means I no longer have to buy washing machine cleaner - cos it's spanking clean!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
I like Arial for whites, and anything on offer for darks. Whites don't come clean enough for me with anything else.
I have some washing balls I got from Aldi's some time ago. With them you only need to use about 1/2 quantity of soap to get clothes clean as the theory is they bounce around and knock the dirt out of your clothes.
I prefer liquid as powder didn't disolve in my tray, and I only use 1/2 quantity of conditioner.
Didn't know that M&S did washing stuff - usually I daren't go in there as I love their stuff but at a price!!! Will have a nosey in though now - thanks for the info.0 -
I was trying to clean my machine a while back, and followed a tip to run it on hot (90 degrees), empty with some soda crystals in it.
I did, but it still smelt funny afterwards, and I had to run about 4 rinses to get the grittiness out !I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -
