I downloaded and installed Skype, found a friend who I knew was on Skype. Internet explorer started not rendering pages properly and a little after the computer crashed, "recovering from a serious fault". I did a syetem recovery which effectively removed Skype. I waited a few days to se if all was going to be stable and it was so reinstalled Skype. It didn't last long before IE again wasn't rendering some pages properly, so before letting it crash, (if it was going to) I did another styetem recovery which again removed Skype.
My reason for putting this question here rather than the Techie Stuff board was to find out if others have had similar problems with Skype making Windows unstable. BTW I have fully updated Win XP SP3 and Internet Explorer 8.
