CConfused Blonde Moment Balance Transfers??

I have just applied for a barclaycard 0% on BT for 10 months.

I applied for it because i have an overdraft of £1500 which is at its limit and im sick and tired of seeing a minus next to my balance.

So my plan was to put this onto my credit card 0% and pay so much off each month for 10 months.

However ive been told this isnt counted as a balance transfer because it isnt from another card or loan. Is this true???

If so ill just cancel the card because i dont have any need for it.

Thanks in advance xxxx TD xxxx

    Leave the card open.

Apply for Egg Money, and transfer a (ficticious) balance from Egg Money to your Barclaycard. This will create a positive balance on Egg Money which you can then BACS transfer to your current account to settle your overdraft.
  • Thank you !!!!!!!!!! Great plan! i will do that now!
