Download http://www.revouninstaller.com/ .When downloaded double click Panda icon and follow on screen instructions. Are you using XP or Vista as you may have to stop Panda running at start up.

    Try it first.
I am not at all techie and can obviously download but don't quite understand your advice about stopping Panda running at start up:obecause the uninstall is running and stuck and I can't stop it or am I misunderstanding your instrcutions:confused:
I was on ask.com and googling/e-mailing Panda support team but no answer and no luck
I am on XP and have a Vista premium update that I haven't dared to put on my comp yet as I am nervous about making mistakes:oI am not very good at this sort of thing and it takes me all my time to master the basic so this problem is really really upsetting me so thank you very much for being there and helping

Open your system's Run utility by clicking on the Start menu button and locating the program. The Run utility should appear on the right-hand side of the menu.
    Step 2
Enter "msconfig" into the Run utility to open the Microsoft Configuration tool. Click on the "Startup" tab at the top of the window. This will bring up a list of programs and services that initiate when your computer is turned on.
    Step 3
Browse the list of programs . uncheck all Panda items.
Click the "OK" button to save your changes. Restart your computer to allow your new settings to take effect.

I did download Revo but for some reason it was not showing in my downloads:confused:
I managed to turn of the comp but when i tried to get back online to thank you/everyone for their advice the screen froze and would not let me back online so I gave up:mad::eek:
The only thing I can think of now is to run my recovery disc and I know it will wipe everything but I don't have much saved and nothing of any real imprtance (I am not techie enough to understand/know how to use USB or save to disc) although I will spend a bit more time trying to sort it out if I can but won't be holding my breathe!!!

for months now i have not been able to use adobe reader 8 as I got an error report from Windows telling me that there was a problem that could not be solved - I tried uninstalling and re-installing but it never worked so I have tried to install the updated Adobe reader 9.1 and allwent well untl it stuck at 93.3% download and sent a report telling em that there was a problem but that a shortcut had been sent to my computer to allow me to complete the download but I tried the shortcut and it keeps sticking at 93.3% and sending me the same message:confused::mad: I then tried to uninstall but it will not let me 'remove'
I also went on a site to get freebies from southern comfort and it said I had to have adobe flash player installed so I have installed that and there it sits when I go into control panel/add,remove programmes but the site keeps telling me that i do not have it installed and must install it to get on the site .I also went onto another site that needs ad flash player and that tells me that I need to install but i know that I have it and :confused:cannot understand why adobe products do not like my computer and if there is another product that i can use
I am thinking of trying Revouninstaller to get the adobe reader 9 off my computer but am wondering if the problem with the corrupt security software which I removed OK could behind this :confused:or is it just a coincidence
Any help advice is very much appreciated
