Any Ideas on sold as seen?

Why would someone take someone else to small claims for a bunk bed costing £50 - doesn't really add up.
There aren't THAT many parts to bunk beds why doesn't she contact the manufacturer and order a new bit? Or get something from a hardware shop? Or get someone to make it?
Whatever happened to being resourceful?
Did she see it put together or was it in bits when she inspected it?0 -
If the item was sold as a bunk bed and not a pile of wood, then it should indeed be a bunk bed; if there is an important bit missing that prevents it being a bunk bed, then it would seem to be a bit mean to hide behind the "sold as seen" getout.0
