OK my mum has gone off on holiday and sawq her today and she gave me £200...what do I do with it. Have asked her what was it for (she snuck a cheque in my bag) and she said to go and see my sister and if that wasn't possible to use how I liked. So do I pay off some debt or squirrel it away in my savings which aren't making any money but I like to have as a safety net. Or buy something for me or have day out with bea? Suggestions please

I think a day of us doing something nice together is definitely on the cards..although there are many places that we could go and have a nice day out without spending any money! Ummmm

Aw hell I cant even stick to a NSD today!

Managed one yesterday cos I didn't pay for the taxi or my drinks at the pub, and we watched the Cowes week fireworks. They were RUBBISH!

But today, I'm stuck at work hating the place (it is giving me grief now, and I'm only doing my notice to be nice, otherwise I'd be out like a shot hiding under the duvet) and when I finish, where do I go to....New Look. And the beggars have a sale, and I somehow spend £39! But I did get a nice rocket necklace for £2 that's different (and had men staring at me yest eve down the pub, but that's another story)

I was going to surprise you by coming up last night but I wasn't sure if you'd be up to your neck in packing, although I'm sure I could have de-stressed you with a mug of wine

I ended up not paying to get back to Poole. I had bought a day return on the Saturday as it was cheaper than a single and the guy said to buy another ticket on my way back. The doors to the station were locked so I went onto the platform and got on a train and waited for the guard.

He was just about to walk into my carriage when I got off at Poole

Ohh you should have come over last night. We had the thursday of torrential rain so I did loads of the packing then. Friday was beach, pool, fair, bowling and back to the beach. You would have been more than welcome.
