***Weekend Chat Thread ~ 8th and 9th August***

Good morning all Yawn_by_nyssi.gif Been up since 6am and decided I should start the thread as everyone seems to be having a morning in bed ;) Nothing much happening here, I did do something naughty today, *phoned in sick for work as I feel blugh* so have the day to catch up on OU an chill. Last night I decided to to my workout dvd and its so much easier when you are over 4 stone lighter (I last used it at my heaviest) so that was cool. Going to do it each day now.

Anyways have a great weekend all _dance__rvmp_by_Zeraga.gif

What is a baby donkey is called? Are they called colts, foals?

Typically a baby donkey is called a foal, for both male and female. A foal is usually under 1 year old. The word colt is used to describe a young male horse. Young male donkeys can either be referred to as a 'baby jack' or a male foal. A young female donkey can be referred to as a 'baby jenny (or jennet)' or a female foal.

Thanks PaP, you are a mine of information:j....so it will be baby jacks and jennies then as there are some of both. Freinds have about 18 mini Donkeys on their farm and they are showing some today so we get to dog/donkey/chicken/duck-sit....great fun!

Pepe that sound like a lovely day although I would be sneezing me head off throughout as I am allegic to dogs and horses (not sure about donkeys:confused:)

OH's back has "gone off" so will have to get the food shopping in by myself. Poor love is back to work on Monday too not so good having your last 2 days off in pain.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
