I know you REALLY REALLY like him but could you not just try and walk away from the relationship that you are so desperate for with him and be his friend. He sounds like a lovely guy and someone that would be great to have around in a crisis? It also sounds like he just needs time hun, and I guess its whether you think he's worth the investment or not I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. Sally, I am not sure I could just be his friend if it was me......
