The c340 is a few years old now, maybe worth telling your friend that it's broken and offering to help pay for a new camera - there are some lovely ones at reasonable prices at the moment. They'll possibly be annoyed (for a little while), but you never know - they might have been planning to replace it anyway.
But on the other hand - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kodak-easyshare-c340-digital-camera_W0QQitemZ280379935002QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CamerasPhoto_DigitalCameras_DigitalCameras_JN?hash=item4147f2491a&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
for £10 with 3hrs to go.0 -
Definitely buy on eBay - they when you give it back to your friend and wander off whistling innocently she can wonder why you've been taking dirty photos of complete strangers with her camera!0
