Nightmare ebay seller advice please?

Hi
Bought a shower from a private ebay seller to replace my faulty shower. It was listed as a brand new but not in original box. When it arrived it showed no signs of any damage but was not really safely packaged in my eyes as the only protection it had was a thin cardboard box. Anyway a electrician friend of mine helped me fit it, and it was found to be faulty. It was leaking internally when it was switched on. I emailed the seller to inform him and asked how it intended to resolve the problem. He told me that it may have been damaged in transit and it was just one of those things and he would not be giving me a refund, he also stupidly advised me to fix the leak with super glue!!! I don't think he is the brightest spark
I pointed out to him that it would be his responsibility to make a claim if it was damaged in transit and not mine. As the box shows no sign of damage and that it was not safely packaged he would not have much hope anyway. He still refuses to accept the shower back and give a refund. I paid via paypal and have started the process of dispute.
Will I get back my £72 from this fool?

You should find that paypal will advise you to return it (make sure its tracked).
Enter the tracking details into Paypal &then they will refund.
Unfortunately you wont get your return postage costs back, but at least thats not as bad as £72 down the drain (excuse that pun!)0 -
Lets hope so, but what if the seller has no cash in his paypal account?0
