BT Billing

So I get an email from BT telling me that "Your latest BT bill is available to view online". I log in, and it mysteriously tells me that my status is "Paper-free" - I don't recall opting for that. Oh well I think to myself, I'll download a pdf copy. Well I would if it wasn't for the "We are sorry but the PDF version of your bill is not available" message. So how exactly am I supposed to find out the date on which they'll take the Direct Debit?
The incompetence of BT beggars belief!

You don't have to download the pdf version of the bill. Just read it online.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

I think when you join online account, BT automatically puts you on paper free.
You need to ring them @ 150 if you are in need of paper version eg. These are one of your utility bills to prove your address.
Hope this helps. Was this post useful to you? Feel free to click the thanks button--¬ :beer:0 -
I have the same problem with BT and the email v when the bill is ready. Generally it is about 2/3 days later which is very poor show.
Also watch out if they say the direct debit is being changed as there are no details on the pdf bill. I have just had a big argument with BT becuase they wanted to double mine without telling me on the bill even though it says "Please see the payment section below" and there were no details0 -
Just a reminder that you will loose the paperless discount if you go back to paper. I think it about £1.25 per month.0

Oh well, nevermind, the pdf has now appeared. I can't help thinking that they should ensure that it is available before emailing you to tell you that the bill is now ready.Stompa0
