    I remember reading somewhere that it isn't advised to do the stopping and starting thing because it can lead to a water infection.
    Like jen, I do them when I remember. Which isn't often tbh!

    Yes that true ,,,,,,,it shouldnt be done now.

    There's a product on the market that was developed after a woman found that her bladder weakness improved while she was using tampons. Her daughter had an eureka moment and developed a silicone tampon-type thing that's now being sold through Boots - I can't remember the name, sorry). I think it might be weighted, and you have to use your pelvic muscles to keep it in place. It's about £10-20, so it's not cheap.

    i bought a pelvi tone machine through the internet after i saw a trial for it on embarrassing bodies on c4. i feel better using that then doing it myself cos i know its been done properly. take a bit of getting used to though.
