I can't swear and I can't even write a swear word down. Although I don't regard the word in question as a swear word I agree it's not nice.

I'm not offended if someone swears (well, not usually) but dh tries to get me to say one now and again, just to hear it come out of my mouth.I'm not a prude or anything. I just cannot say them. But I think my kids make up for me.

I don't like blasphemy though and i'm not even religious.

Another vote here for the word 'crap' not being at all offensive. Apologies to the OP.

Personally I would only find the word crap offensive on these boards if it was directed against another user or their post.

If it is used in a more general sense, then it doesn't cause me any offence. I, too, equate crap with words like rubbish and useless. Just my own personal opinion.

Have to admit, I have no problem with one swear word every now and again if you want to show passion about a particular topic.

However c**p (censored) doesn't really seem as swear word as has been mentioned before.
