I'm not sure if it is related but within a couple of hours I have also had my first viewing!! I'm not expecting an offer from my first viewing but i'm so pleased to have had one :o Thank you for the advice it has really helped me :rotfl:

I didn't mean paying up front (I doubt even in these times EAs are asking vendors to pay upfront for their fees) but part of the fee goes on marketing - ie creating the particulars, putting them online and any other advertising media.

But saying that just because a similar property sold in x days doesn't mean yours will too - there's a whole lot of variable circumstances that play out when putting together a succesful transaction. A SSTC is just that. But it starts with EAs doing the job you paid them to do, get viewers through the door.

LOL! Didn't read it that way when I posted it...
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

But what leads to the sale? erm that would be marketing...

Erm, what if you withdraw from the market without selling? Do you, erm, settle a marketing bill with the, erm, agent?
