Foxes

If you haven't got chickens why worry them?
I used to live in London, and I used to love seeing urban foxes in the moonlight, when I was on my way home after a night out...
I once had some bantam chicks that a friend and I had hatched in an incubator, and I had looked after them like they were my own.. first night I put them in a pen, the fox came and ate them all - I want too keen on foxes that day! Also, whenever my dog finds fox !!!!!! she rolls in it, so I do have moments of verbal fox abuse! ... but overall they have some sort of instinct for survival and ability to adapt that I really admire.
Also, they are really very beautiful - why not learn mre about them and see if you can learn to love them - I thought the ebay link might be for an infrared light so you could observe them...0 -
Oh no i can't live with them in my back garden i am scared of any animals  this coming from a country girl that lives in the middle of nowhere
i am such a wuss :rotfl: and as i don't have a boyfriend to protect me i'm even more scared
seriously tho i don't like wild animals, i have heard that the RSPCA will come and move them for you safety is this true
I don't want them to get hurt owt.0 -
You need to move house then. I would suggest a hermetically sealed box or a space station. Alternatively, try counselling/medication. Sorry - that sounds harsh, but animals are a fact of existence. You get them in the town, you get them in the country. Being so scared of normal creatures that you cannot function is something that needs to be addressed professionally. It's not funny or feminine. By the way, if you really think that alcohol is the solution to all your problems, I would suggest that you mention that to your GP as well.
I hope you take this in the spirit it is meant - I'm not the person to skirt around an issue and say 'there, there, bunnikins'. There is no reasonable way to eliminate the natural world from your bubble of existence. As it cannot be changed, the alternative within your power is to change how you respond to the situation.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Karen, have you considered putting out a little food and sitting in your home to watch them come down? You may fall in love with them as the rest of us here have.0

The RSPCA will and do not deal with wildlife. Oh yes you will see it on TV but in real life no.
Don't be so bloody stupid. Leave them alone they will leave you alone.0 -
I am so jealous I would love to have had foxes living in my garden, it will never happen now though because we have a dog. You are so lucky.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0

You never know hun, I have 2 dogs, terriers at that and they still come. I was sat out the other night with Jack (the scottie) having my last ciggie of the night when one of ours jumped onto the lawn. Jack barked and fox just looked at him as if to say "whats the problem?" lol0 -
