Salary Inflation calculator

Hi All,
I've been looking around the net for an inflation calculator.
What I want is to be able to say my salary was £1000 in 2006 so what should it be today assuming only inflation based rises.
I've had a look around and there seems to be one at the ONS for calculating personal inflation but it does not seem to take salary in to account but rather monthly spending habits.
Just wondering if anyone has one that they know of.
Otherwise I will fall back to using a spreadsheet and type the data in manually
