On 30th March I received an e-mail at 9.26pm advising my flight the following afternoon was cancelled and was advised to phone 0871 244 2366 @ 10p/min to claim ticket cost refund. Almost 3 weeks later, despite constant trying to get someone to answer my calls "all our operatives are busy-they will answer your call as soon as possible" and numerous ignored e-mails I am just unable to make contact with anyone to discuss the claim - please, has anyone got a number that I can call that I know someone will answer and I can try and get some response ? Even an e-mail address that I know will get an answer from will help - thanks in advance

Send a recorded delivery letter describing the efforts you have made to contact them and asking them to contact you. Make it clear that if there is no response within 14 days you will be raising an action in the small claims court to recover your losses. If there's no response, raise the claim. What goes around - comes around0

As well as a refund, you may be entitled to compensation. Why did they cancel your flight?
Here is their Finance Directors email address:

There was a strike over the employment legislation that has subsequently been withdrawn. The annoying thing was if I hadn't just spotted the e-mail before shutting my PC down at midnight after packing and discovered about the cancellation as had an early start following morning and an expensive and wasted journey could have been made - they had my phone contact details in the reservation. Thanks for tip.0

You could also phone via Greece, which I think diverts back to Luton Airport
( Lorraine Chase & The Campari Advert - anyone remember that ad ?):

However, you ought use one of the cheap telephone carriers such as 1899 / 18866. A word of warning, Easyjet will KNOW that the call originates from Greece.
Good luck.

that strike affected my flight back home too, i thought my insurance would have covered cancellation of flights but as i took out the cheaper insurance i wasnt covered for flight cancellationNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20
