HP Recalls 15,700 Notebook Batteries

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, on April 20, 2006. HP announced a worldwide voluntary recall and replacement program for batteries used in certain HP Notebook PCs. HP customers affected by this program will be eligible to receive a replacement battery for each verified, affected, recalled battery at no cost.
