Hi
I didnt know where to post this. Im looking for some hints and tips re a shed.
I have seen a 7 x 7 with double doors at £225 which seems a good price. Am i right is this a good deal?
This is the size i want as would fit the space perfectly.
Cant post a link as im a newbie. Its at buyshedsdirect and is a7 x7 pressure treated overlap apex double door shed.
Thanks in advance,

Shedstore dont have the size im looking for - only a corner one, i want a square 7 x 7.
Hoping someone may have heard of/used buyshedsdirect or at least tell me if there is a better deal to be had.
    Thanks, Vicki

I think i would spend a little extra on the tongue and grove version rather than the overlap as it will be stronger and more durable (the overlap boards curl up and leave gaps).
A shed for that sort of price is always going to be poor quality (the frame work is 28x28mm and cladding is 8-12mm) but if put up well, on a good solid base and treated reguarly it will keep you lawnmower dry for years.

Agreed, buy local, you can see what you are getting.:T
  • Local are all so much more as there are no decent sales at the mo!
Im in Essex so if anyone knows somewhere let me know. I know above someone said avoid Waltons but what about this one, its tongue and groove as advised by Markie

having purchased serveral walton sheds (from budget to high end) i cant fault them
you get what you pay for look at the groundsman range
The orginal post in this thread has a very very slim chance of being about money saving. The post is more than likely to ask a question that google could answer better than any of us.

We tried buying a shed from two different online suppliers and had nothing but hassle. Both turned out to be placing orders with Waltons, who failed on every promised delivery date to actually produce the goods, and the carriers in each case told us they did not have the goods from Waltons so couldn't make the so called "guaranteed" delivery date!
We ended up buying locally at a similar price but actually saw what we were buying and had no further probs.

Hello there I have bought a a cheap shed, and you really do get what you pay for if you can find a plan online, and can source some cheapish timbe, you can have a lot of fun making your own shed. I'll definately do this next time as for one, it will last you a lot longer than the rubbish you showed via link! If you searchonline there are sites which will tell you how to go about building a shed. If not, I may be able to supply a copy of instructions for you. but making it is difficult as I live near king lynn.

    all the best Jimbo
