I ordered an iphone 16gb from a seller on ebay who had 250 posotive feedback 100%. I paid then sent a few emails asking him to confirm if the phone was unlocked before he sent, no replys. Then another ebayer who purchased same item left him feedback shouting scammer. He also purchased the phone and didnt get answers to his emails. So over the last 2-3 days this person who uses 'NEXT DAY DELIVERY' option isn't replying or anything.
Anyway, I immedaitly claimed with paypal saying I feel its fraudlent and have evidence - the other person. They said if he dosent reply to paypal in 10 days I get automatic refund of my £450. If he does reply and shows a tracking number then it goes in his favour.
I dont no whats best to do, please help!!

Don't panic You've done everything right. You've done everything right.
Just sit tight and wait for PP. There is no tracking number because they haven't delivered to you.
Oh and next time, ask questions about the item BEFORE buying My TV is broken! My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0

Yes I expect to get money back, but what if he sent .. say an empty box to my house with tracking? Then what would happen? :S He would say he sent it and I have empty box.0

I can't believe that these are so expensive, I have just filled a form in to sell mine to envirofone for £179, I think I will try elsewhere now.
I sold my original one for over £200 about a month ago, try CEX My TV is broken! My TV is broken!

Empty boxes are quite light, so you'd knowYes I expect to get money back, but what if he sent .. say an empty box to my house with tracking? Then what would happen? :S He would say he sent it and I have empty box.
Seriously though, if it's worrying you that much, if you get anything you need to sign for, ask your postie / courier driver to let you open it (in their sight) before signing for it. If it's an empty box, they'll see why you asked. Not sure if couriers have sytems in place to deal with scams like this if they're exposed Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.
