I'm sure this has been asked before , but have searched without success!
Happy to be redirected to a link!
I am a relatively new ebayer and have dug out 4 items (all the same) I bought years ago for my kids to give to friends as birthday presents. Not esp high value, but quite a fun novelty item and the one I listed on ebay has attracted bids and quite a few watchers. What would be the best way to sell the 3 others please?

If the auction is still active why not put on that you are selling multiple of the item on, but maybe not all at once. Other than that you could wait for the item to sell and then send the second and third highest bidders second chance offers, which allows them to buy the item at the price it sold for, just explain you have multiple.0

I wouldn't let underbidders know i had more, they might stop bidding and wait for a second chance offer instead. Let auction finish and then offer second chance offers to the underbidders.
A second chance offer though doesn't offer the item at the sale price of the 1st one, but at the highest bid the individual placed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks, you have given better advice than me.0

i agree too, by letting potential buyers think you only have one of an item ie. that it is 'rarer', then you are likely to achieve a higher price on the auction. you can then choose which of the underbidders to offer your other items to (depending on their highest bids).
you may only offer to one and then list another 'one' and offer a second again, or you may offer the other three at once. the other bonus re second chance offers is that you only pay the final value fee and not a listing fee, therefore saving some pennies.
if i offer a second chance, i again let that person think there is only 'one' other, thereby maintaining a little rarity again (ie. don't say that you have 3 others), making them more likely to take up your second chance offer;).0 -
Thanks all for your advice. The first auction ends tomorrow, so I will wait and see how the bidding goes!0
