I'm sure it will be fine- it is another step towards your goal so give yourself a pat on the back for going.

I've just found a great solution to my relaxation problems! I've always listened to audio books or relaxation tapes when going to sleep (ever since I was a child). However, I haven't been able to do this over the last year as it keeps OH awake. I've really missed this. A friend gave me an mp3 pillow but it was too uncomfortable to use.

I've just found a speaker you can use under your existing pillow where you can hear things but your OH doesn't. At under £10 I'm going to treat myself to one and if it works it will make a good gift for several members of my family with the same problem!

Hope your hospital visit goes well. The mp3 thing sounds good too. My DS goes to sleep with his ipod - I think he would struggle without it too - scary!

Thanks was really anxious in the appointment so it worries me how I'll react when I'm actually in for the op! How crazy is it to be worried about getting worried! It just seems to give me such a bad physical reaction at the moment!

I had to have an ECG and heart scan a couple of years ago and I was so nervous they couldn't get an accurate reading at first as my heart was beating so fast! They kept saying "deep breaths, think of something nice and relaxing." I was half naked with things stuck all over my chest  wasn't a very relaxing situation! Nurses were lovely though.
