So do I- OH is a master at making them! We have real fun putting together the toppings. I much prefer them to shop or takeaway ones.

I think I'll continue to be wobbly while my health plays up. Just want to be back to feeling 'normal', back at work and not stressing about anything!

Only 1 more left- not sure if I'll do it today though.

I was just contemplating something I'd read in the bath and thought I'd pop it down in here to look back on!

All of us have our individual talents, our strengths and our weaknesses. It is not true to say that I can't do anything since there are many things in life I'm capable of and do well. I can write a to do list and meal plan for a start!!

However it had not struck me before that it is arrogant to think that I have to do everything. It ignores the fact that some things can be done just as well or better by others in my life.

I was also thinking that in things like the debt free journey this could also mean that I don't have to try every possible approach to clear my debt. That finding those I am best at and that work for me is important. It also made me think how as a community we all have different strengths and the great thing on here is how people share them by advising and helping others.

A bit of an Aha moment for me. Although I don't go around saying I need to do everything sometimes my actions at work and home can imply this. Sometimes I need to let go!

Hope that wasn't too boring to anyone reading! Sometimes I like to record things in here to read back.

hey ya hun, glad you've had some thinking time and that you're feeling brighter, you're right in what you say, you don't have to do everything and you don't have to be the best at everything, these are some of my downfalls too, which puts uneccessary stress on me, as I keep trying to achieve the unachievable perfection..... nobodys perfect.

Always good to have a little philosophy in your diary! I am doing absolutely naff-all while I am off sick: I've a ton of things to do but just can't motivate myself. :o Mum is back from travelling in a few weeks so she may be co-opted.

glad you've realised you can't and don't need to do everything yourself.
I'm trying to truly let OH do some things, i even twitch when he hangs stuff on the washing line lol but i lived on my own for so many years it's become second nature to just do everything myself

Glad it's not just me that needs to feel in control of things I should let go.
FireFox- this is truly a time where you just need to do whatever is best for you!
LemonTree- I hadn't really thought about it being a natural consequence of living on your own for years.

Have a good day everyone- no list today as it is the weekend. I need to focus on having some quality time with OH!
