Ariel Rollerball

I know this is a stupid question but I still need to ask...
I have changed to a liquid detergent because my new cold fill machine doesn't dissolve powder tablets very well, and have just received my rollerball. Does this go in the machine with the washing? I am sure it must do but need confirmation.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, Jancee, it goes inside the machine with the clothes. Fill the ball to the line and pop it at the back of the machine drum, on the top of the dirty clothes.0

HI
YOU PUT THE BALL FILLED WITH REQUIRED AMOUNT OF DETERGENT INTO THE DRUM OF THE MACHINE, (sorry just realized caps on) definetly not as good as the old fashioned powder on whites0 -

I agree - the trouble is that the cold water fill just doesn't dissolve the powder(I use the tablets)and it clogs up the dispenser and if you break them up first you end up with washing powder all over the kitchen floor which is very annoying.0 -
Don't tell me u got a Bosch as well!
I don't use tabs (too expensive and too smelly!) but the order in which I put the detergent in seems to matter.
Put in powder (about half recommended amount) then put in Soda crystals on top then put in Ecover Laundry bleach if doing whites. In the pre wash drawer put in biotex then put in soda crystals.
Alternatively I am gonna try my Soapnuts out tonite (using HWTHMBO's sock) or if Persil send me a washing sock to put them in I will use that.
Didn't think tabs were very MSE anyway, coz you have to use a fix amount to do the laundry with.
I did hear the Aerial tabs are supposed to tbe the best at dissolving at low temps - which tabs are you using?just in case you need to know:
HWTHMBO - He Who Thinks He Must Be Obeyed (gained a promotion, we got Civil Partnered Thank you Steinfeld and Keidan)
DS#1 - my twenty-five-year old son
DS#2 - my twenty -one son0 -

Yes!! How did you know. I have always used Ariel tabs, I know this isn't exactly money saving but the results were always worth it and I am now finding that the liquid just isn't as good.0 -
im glad i read this post.
ive got a bosch washing machine had it almost 2 years , the draw gets clogged up with tablet muck that has not disolved , we use aldi non - bio because i suffer and my son suffers from excema.
what if we put the tablets in with the wash rather than in the draw will they disolve better.
we have a bosch excell 1600 model.

Kerry - I was wondering the same thing, although on the boxes of Ariel tabs that I use it does say don't put directly into the drum. Maybe someone will have the answer for us.0
