paypal account in negative equity, wont let me pay anyone...

unfortunately my paypal account is in the negative.

yesterday i initiated a bank transfer to pay this money back to paypal but whenever i try to pay for anything else they're still trying to charge me the 'negative' amount.

is there anyway that i can by pass this? i dont want to have to wait to pay for things that ive won today since i normally pay instantly.

any advise?

There is nothing you can do here except clear your account by putting funds in to cover the negative balance. assume you have had to refund someone?

I did have another thought, if you have a friend with a paypal account get them to send you money so you can settle the negative balance and pay for your goods. Once your own money arrives you can refund your friend and neither of you will pay charges.
