Question about purchase. Misdescribed?

Hello,
My brother has made a purchase on ebay. He thought he was buying a number of games as the picture showed many (10 or there abouts) so happily paid.
He has looked again at the item page it says in the listing "Please note the quantity is one, the picture shows the collection i have" which he didnt see when he bid. Not sure if the listing can be changed after receiving a bid?
The picture made it seem that he was buying more than 1 game, isnt there a word for this? Not sure if misdescribed is the right one! I was wondering if there is anything he can do about it? Its not a lot of money so if theres nothing he can do then thats fine, but its more the fact he made it seem like there was more.
Thanks

To be honest, if the description and title were clear, it's your bro's error

Listings can be added to after a bid... but it will be obvious - it will say 'The seller added the following info on x date'
What did the title say?My TV is broken!

The title was "Playstation 2 game freak out"
I read it the same as him lol as if it was a "freak out" = a lot of games.. if that makes sense, probably not. :rotfl:
It doesnt say anything about editing so I guess my brother just missed it. Will tell him to be more careful in future!
The word I was looking for was misleading!Weight loss November 09-January 10: [STRIKE]13lbs[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]20lbs[/STRIKE] 27lbs! :j0 -
Looks like it's a game

Guess you already figured that out!

I think the clue is in the title - game not games - I wouldn't read it as go and freak out at the games I'm selling but would assume that is the name of the game -
Some ppl take just one picture if they are selling a lot of similar items but more often then not it is clear which you are buying.
Hope this game is one of the bundle your brother thought he would be getting that he wanted. x0 -
He could always try sending a message stating that as the picture showed many games, that's what he thought he was bidding on, so could they cancel? A picture speaks a thousand words after all...
There are often people who sell games in a bundle, listing on the well known one(s), then including some more rubbish games in the sale. I really hate it when they don't picture exactly what they're selling.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Looks like he only paid £2 for the game with free postage! :rotfl:0

And?
Like I said, its not a lot of money but its the principle. They used a picture which was misleading.Weight loss November 09-January 10: [STRIKE]13lbs[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]20lbs[/STRIKE] 27lbs! :j0 -
Having taken a look at the listing - there are only 4 lines of description.
It's pretty hard to miss thatg there's only one game.My TV is broken!

If it was only £2, then that's fair enough, and his mistake! I was thinking you meant he'd paid lots of money thinking it was a bundle!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
