Google trouble

Hi

All google applications and pages seem to be taking ages to load. Does anyone know of a service update page that can be accessed?

Is anyone else having google problems at the mo, or is it me?!

Cheers

Lesley

i have the same problem with a certain set of websites (game.com facebook paypal etc) the only way i can get the set of websites that take forever to load, or time out. is to just turn off my router at the mains switch and turn it on again after about 2 mins. - maybe this will solve your problem. (dont ask me why it does this ive been putting up with this almost every 3 days for over 3 months - and i am a techie!)
    hope this helps

I just visited in Firefox 3.5b4 and got a long lasting prompt "Please wait while Docs Offline software resources are being updated." Still not finished after ten mins.

Looks like there's an update being utilised if you have google gears installed. Let it run; go make coffee. It'll probably be OK once its updated. If no luck, click the google docs image at the top left to reload the page - mine reloaded immediately after that.

    Thanks Chez.

Google is loading ok now (mostly) but I'll try that next time it happens. I had the same trouble with google yesterday evening. Everything else loads ok.

    Cheers
