For my husbands 30th I got him a signed, framed photo of a very iconic photo of his favourite footballer...came with a certificate of authenticity and everything...paid £50 for the photo itself and then another £30 for mounting and framing but it looked stunning and he loved it and it still hangs on the stairs now.....harder to buy presents for men that they can keep as not into jewelery/keepsakey things....My Mum got my my hubby a years pass for him to go to the local farm centre as he loves taking the kids and while they're under two they go in for free so he used that LOADS and really enjoyed it...
For my 30th I got a ticket to see the british grand prix at silverstone and although not something I could keep I LOVED it and took loads of photos to remmeber it....HTHIf Life Deals You a Lemon - Make Lemonade!! :j0 -

for my OH's 40th I bought him a driving experience - he was able to drive a racing car around Rockingham race circuit as he is really into motor racing. It didn't last very long but he loved it. You can get similar experiences such as 4x4 off roading, rallying, drive a porsche/ferrari, or even flying if he's into anything like that.0
