VOIP problem

I connected a voip phone to my USB connection, downloaded VoipDiscount made a call, pc-phone, I could hear the other person but they could not hear me????? I tried it a couple of times, still no joy. What am I doing wrong?

Chances are you haven't changed the sound settings to use the USB phone as the sound recording device in Ctrl Panel>Sounds and Audio>Voice. Change the sound recording device to USB device.
You might also need to change the settings within VOIPDiscount.
I had exactly the same problems as you when I first setup Skype.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. theres normally a setup wizard you do which detects the voice and speakers0
