I ended up making pasta, with the last of the smoked sausage and a cut up chicken burger, with cheese and an egg.
I didn't actually think it would turn out that good (never cooked an egg before)
But it was actually really yummy!
And while i was waiting on the chicken burger to cook in the grill, i made some cakes (ok so it was instant cake mix from a box...but they are pink!) for my mum n brother coming home tomorrow morning
Just waiting on them cooling down, then gonna put some icing on them and the wee barbie sticker things that came in the pack (i'm sure my wee brother will love that
)
I'm now in the mood for baking...i used to bake with my gran when i was like 5! I wanna try and make some cookies i think, i've never made cookies before.0 -
Help us out a bit - we need to know what you have before we can tell you what to make.

Then make Twink's hobnobs. :drool:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Just as I thought, a student. :rolleyes:
And as James O'Brien would say: Only a student would say like inappropriately in a sentence. :rolleyes:
Or at least something like that.
I'm not sure if they still do this but the recipe for my Shepherds Pie might be on the inside of the packaging of Tesco's lamb mince (500g). Or at least it used to be.
This might be more appropriate if your strictly a meat eater. And don't forget the spuds!
You could use pasta too if you prefer.
I think it's this one:
And if you fancy you could always substitute the lamb with beef and make Cottage Pie instead.0 -
