2 for £11 on maybelline makeup in tescos

Hi i bought a founating 2 foundation and lipstick in tescos today as there was a sticker under both stating 2 for £11 i was charged full price when i questioned this i was advised it only applied to the same product but nowhere did it state you can not mix and match the offer is on the foundation lipstick and mascaras and i have previously bought a lipstick and mascara under the same offer please can anyone advise am i right or wrong.

    Did it actually say you COULD mix and match?
    If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

    no it didnt say you could but it didnt say you couldnt it just had th yellow sticker under the lipstick foundation and mascara

    Thats a load of bull, I bought two different items yesterday using the same offer I got them both for £11?
    £80 in boots vouchers from pigsback.com - Balance: 820pp
    £15 in paypal from Lightspeed + £30 Halfords Vouchers
    £36.20 earned from onepoll so far

    Well, as Purpledaisy has said the offer does in fact work, then go back and complain...

    But still, just because some POS doesn't say you can't it doesn't mean you can...

    Forget Tesco and get yourself over to the grabbit board OP, there's always posts about cheap deals on makeup (cheaper than 2 items for £11 anyway)! Lots of really good offers some instore and some online.
