Cheap hotel in Rotterdam please!

Hello,
Me and my man want to go to Rotterdam for one night, starting New Years Eve. We're already in Holland, so room only is needed. Any ideas for particular hotels and whether it's best to book direct or via a website?
Have tried Priceline at 35 quid for 4 star superior but got knocked back, only have one more chance to use within this 72 hour period, so don't want to waste it.
Help please, not much time left!

Have you looked at Octopus Travel? I've used them for rooms in Europe before. Or Laterooms?
PS Just looked at Octopus travel for you and there are four decent looking hotels on there. Unfortunately I can't put a link directly to them as they "time out" quickly! And there are a couple on laterooms.
