Payment plans & Reclaiming charges

Had a partial payout with Nationwide last month.
So i thought i would then tackle HSBC.
However HSBC have come back to me and said because i have a payment plan set up to tackle my Council Tax Arrears, they do not consider this to be hardship ( even though the fact of the matter is I am in arrears?).
To stop me encountering Charges every month they said they would incease my overdraft to a temp one to cover bills. However i would have to trade in my debit card for a cash card, which i have done.
Now they have increased my overdraft, i wont get charges, however I am still having to pay off the increased overdraft, and it is still money going into their pocket?!
Can anybody help me!
I still want to claim but feel abit tied down now because i have agreed to the temp. overdraft.
Has anybody had any experience of this/ and can help me?
Thanks

It seems reasonable and remember the amount outstanding is gaining interest every day that they do not pay out.0 -
knew i could count on you to reply !
However it is still paying them money... thats whats bothering me, they take away the charges but just masking it behind the new overdraft.
Oh.... I have sent Nationwide a letter, asking them if its their final repsonse to my harsdship case, and advised i would bank the £400 approx as an interim. etc. Asked them to reconsider their offer and state if final. Otherwise i will go to the FOS.
Nothing yet, but will keep you posted.0 -
