Is this right....
Changing from NPower (Pre Payement Metre) to British Gas (Direct Debit)
I had all the paperwork done, looked as though I would switch on April 25th.
Then today I get a 'smart card' from British Gas. 2 of the people in their call centre had no idea why. Finally, I was told that anybody moving from Pre Payment to DD had to switch to Pre Payment first for 1 month. Now, British Gas is way more exspensive than N Power for Pre Payment.
The woman assured me that within a month the engineer would be here to change me over to DD metre, but couldn't give me a date.
I am thinking about cancelling due to this.
Any ideas

Are you sure it's not a bill payment card as they provide those, and I've never used mine. I normally pay via bank payments every three months but got some annoying letter from them a few days ago saying I have to pay every two weeks from now on - which is going to be real hassle since I refuse to use Direct Debit. Might change supplier.0
