i have rang them and sent so many letters and claimed under financial hardship but kept getting the same reply.. 'the test case is on hold'
i just rang halifax now and shes sent the halifax debt people an e-mail to send me out some forms i have to fill in to prove financial hardship which i asked for months and months ago. but they never got on and did it.
she said they will get the forms sent out to me within the next 5days so hopfully they will come soon and then halifax will get a move on.
just wondering if anyone has claimed with halifax under financial hardship and had an offer made back from them?
and also since i sent my 1st letter to halifax with a total of charges i want refunding i have had more charges added to the account? do i need to request another list of charges from halifax so i know the total aswel as letting them know a new total??
i havnt got a copy of my 1st letter with the total as my laptop broke and i had it saved on there..i now print a dated copy of for me to keep. so i dont have a clue what the total is? is it worth me ringing and asking them for a list?
any help would be much appretiated. thanks.

You need to update the list you already have or from what you have written you will need to do a new list since you haven't got your original. Take two copies of it cos having a paper copy would have been easier.

When you receive the I&E form complete it with household income and expenditure,
Do you have priority debt arrears(mortgage/rent, council tax, utilities)?
Are any of the arrears being paid off?0 -

i have priority debts for gas, electric, water and council tax.. should i send proof of the totals with my I&E form?
i make minimum payments to them weekly to try get the totals down but if i got the charges back i could get them down alot more or maybe totally paid off. 0 -
Definitely send copies of the arrears as it will avoid a delay in them making a decision. If you are paying off arrears they may take the view that you have enough income to be able to cover essential outgoings and to pay off arrears but they have to explain to you their reasoning if they reject your request.i have priority debts for gas, electric, water and council tax.. should i send proof of the totals with my I&E form?
