Would'nt of minded paying so just good will , it makes a change for a company not to charge for everything.

On the other hand, I had a terrible experience buying an iPhone from their Southampton store. I might post about it....

They are also the most expensive, which is why they can afford to give good service, in the same way that a Rolls Royce dealer will give excellent after care.

Bet it doesn't rival the terrible experience I've had at the Milton Keynes store just attempting to upgrade an iPhone. Terrible, terrible service, astounding levels of incompetence and lack of customer care.

Yeah mine was an upgrade too.

They sent me an email asking me to complete a survey about my experience and then I also received a call from the store manager about my experience.

So I urge you to fill in the form if you do get it or call and speak to a manager yourself as I felt it was very constructive and that he was taking on board what I was saying.

  • I filled in the form, I've had to go back several times and now I'm £75, approaching £100 out of pocket and sick of the entire experience. :(

I'm on hold as we speak trying to get a direct email for the store and/or manager of the store. I'm fed up of having to go back in, being assured of action, and nothing happening.

I can't speak too highly of the staff at Apple, Trafford Centre, Manchester.

Was buying an iphone and they couldn't have been more helpful with all the questions we were asking.

    Great service!
  • We've had several dealings with the Milton Keynes store, and prior to this they've always been very good service wise, although they never followed up with their small business call after asking us specifically for details. We didn't really want that anyway!

This has just been one big palaver though.
