Help please M&S taken money 10 months after inital purchase

Hi, please can someone advise me, my mother purchased a televison from M&S in October 2008 and monies was taken from mastercard for the purchase. Yesterday she recieved an email from M&S stating her television was being dispatched and payment had been made??????? My mother has been on telephone to M&S and there is no additional Televison being sent, M&S are saying its for the televison purchased in October 2008. After checking mastercard today additional monies have been taken. At present we are waiting for problem to be resolved by M&S whom stated they would respond my midday !!!

So she was charged for the original TV? You have that on the statement?

Seems cut and dried to me, let them sort it out first of course. If they don't, inform your bank you wish to do a chargeback.

I got charged by M&S for something twice - they asked for a copy of my bank statement to prove payment had been taken. I wasn't very impressed and was ready to send the statement when suddenly a refund appeared on my account so they must have sorted it out somehow. Wait to see what they say when they get back to you but it must be one big mistake to debit a card twice 10 months after the initial purchase.

If reading right show them your Mastercard statement showing them they already had the money and ask for a bunch of flowers as an appology off them!
