Rest in Peace Fred the Maddest Muppet in Heaven0 -
i have known of people who take the coupon out and put the product back without buying the item ..... thats dishonest0

Got 2 packs of these today. Haven't checked the voucher yet but it usually says not including trial packs and sainsburys are generally very funny about vouchers so i'll use my vouchers in Tesco0

You meander thru the aisles of sainsburys, spot a deal and think "oohh i can save a few £'s & p's here", i know i'll share that with those fantastic people at MSE...
tum di tum, tap tap click click >> thread started.
Accused of theft and generally made to feel defensive and guarded about actions.
Thanks very much, i'm going to have a wander thru sainsburys @ the weekend to see if its still about. In my eyes if you buy the product your welcome to the voucher/coupon. If manufacturers were that worried they would issue Till-spits like boots do from time to time.
Thanks for sharing and ignore the miserable "holier than thou"!NO RAIN - NO RAINBOWS
When did i stop being able to fit Hoola-Hoops over my fingers?:think:0 -
thanks you guys, after reading posts 3 and 5 i was wondering if i should hand myself in:rotfl:i can understand if i just removed the voucher without buying the product..but i did not do that! maybe i should of bought one, taken coupon out then gone and bought the other for 39p then handed over the voucher for 50p then sainsburys would of owed me 11p!!!! i guess if anything it's opened up a can of worms in as if u knew a token for a free can of coke was in a paper would you a: buy the paper then cut out token then go round the shop pick up can and que again or b: pick up the can of coke as you go round the shop and use voucher at the till.....? but beware if you do the latter u may be accused of being a thief.0

I did that recently with an offer in the mirror for a free loaf of kingsmill, i ripped it out at the till and handed it over. The way i see it, i easily could have bought the paper then bought the bread so it made no difference. Not sure i'd do the same with the huggies voucher as you are supposed to buy the voucher with the pack and then use the voucher off a future purchase but not sure i'd go as far as to say it's stealing but probably morally not quite right0 -
Now we know who started the recession
Morals morals, each to their own! Thanks for sharing
And edited to add: Is this site not immoral in some sense. I do wonder how many companies will stop doing special offers knowing there are forums like this that enable more to take advantage of it, ie. possibly way more than they predict!June: 50% off Pizza Hut dine in Voucher - saved £20:)13Jul: Free Screening of The Proposal (Hilarious!):)Galaxy Book Club Win:)14/Jul: Mars Football Win (will keep):)15Jul: Galaxy Book Club Win, 2 Mars Football wins, Mars Cricket ball - (will donate), Mars Rugby Ball (will keep).0 -
just to clear up matters, buy product first, on its own, take out coupon and hand over with rest of shopping. no theft, correct action taken.A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j0
